ARTIST STATEMENT
My
initial artistic interest was in film and photography.
I used photography to plan
and design my compositions and spend alot of time
at this stage. My paintings are built of many layers.
The underlying sketch is in ink which i use for
their vibrancy. Gold and silver inks are often used.
Further layers are built up using mainly oils and
some acrylics.
